Once you have familiarized yourself with your placement test results, learned about course requirements, and looked over course descriptions, we encourage you to register for courses. You do not have to wait until Orientation or until speaking with an academic advisor to register for classes. At Orientation, you will meet with an LAS academic advisor who will review the courses for which you have registered and will make suggestions if changes are needed.

An Orientation Fee Discount Request form is available. The discount request, along with documentation verifying the information you have supplied must be faxed, mailed or delivered to the UIC Orientation Program at least seven days prior to your orientation program date. Submitting a form does not guarantee approval. Please contact orhelp@uic.edu or (312) 996-3271 for inquiries about your pending request. We cannot accept any request forms submitted after you have participated in your orientation program.
