African American Academic Network (AAAN)
Sponsors social and cultural activities to encourage student involvement, and advocates for the interests of its participants.
Latin American Recruitment and Educational Services Program (LARES)
Provides mentorship, academic support and scholarships to Latino students.
Native American Support Program
Fosters a climate for positive learning for Native Americans, serving as a student advocate and as a liaison to the Chicago Native American community.
TRIO Academic Support Program
TRIO extends academic support services to students from low-income families, students with disabilities, and/or students who are the first generation in their families to attend college.

Academic Center for Excellence (ACE)
Offers short courses and workshops to strengthen academic performance, prepare for graduate school, etc.
CHANCE Learning Center
Assists incoming freshman, transfer and currently enrolled students by providing tutoring and help with academic preparation, study habits and skills, motivation, coping strategies and more.
Sandi Port Errant Language and Culture Learning Center
Language Oasis, 308 Grant Hall, M-F 8 a.m. -5 p.m.
Writing Center
Complements classroom instruction by providing tutorials, resources, workshops, and publication opportunities for writers, educators, and writing groups from all disciplines and experience levels. Provides drop-in peer tutoring services.
