Four Year Model Plans

LAS students must have a major and complete specified course work in the major. Students are expected to declare a major by the end of the sophomore year (59 semester hours).

The four year plans of study provided here are intended to assist you in planning your schedule for your four years at UIC. They are not intended to take the place of advising. Students are encouraged to see both the major advisor and an advisor in the LAS Academic Advising Center at least once each year to discuss specific course selections and progress toward the degree.

Students with transfer work need to consult an advisor to determine how their transfer course work will count toward requirements.
